Grace in Motion: The Beauty of Swivel Skiing
Swivel is the most graceful, artistic act on the water (other than Men’s Line). Skiers in this act perform a series of maneuvers on the water to delight the crowd. Common components include the 180 degree, 360 degree, and even more involved turns all the way up to 1080 degrees (three full turns!). These are achieved as a result of a swivel ski which has a different type of binding that allows for the foot and the binding to turn without turning the ski.
Skills Needed:
All of the Showgirls and Ladies Line skills are needed and must be very well refined for this individual act.
Equipment Needed:
Skiers will need their own swivel ski to participate.
